Tower Bridge has stood over the River Thames in London since 1894 and is one of the most recognisable landmarks in the world. It is the bridge of London you tend to see in movies and on advertising literature for London.
This 3 year restoration project, costing £2.5M will see Southwark Bridge returned to its original bright colours of green and yellow.
The £4.5 million restoration project, funded by the City of London Corporation, involved the cleaning and repair of the Monument’s stonework and the re-gilding of it’s famous golden orb.
